Maternity Clothes

Well I am now in the second trimester and I can tell you the body 'assumes the position' much faster the second time around, well at least it has in my case. It's not like everything bounced back perfectly from the first pregnancy so I guess I shouldn't be surprised by my bump, but I still am. I have been comparing my bump to pictures and it is small-average (from being so unwell) but I am in the stage where normal clothes look like I have let myself go and my old maternity ones are too big. Nice - so people just think I look fatter than usual lol

Which means I just have to comment on maternity clothes. Have these designers ever been pregnant? Do they think that on top of the side effects of pregnancy a pregnant woman should suffer the additional indignity of wearing floral, paisley, printed stretchy something or other - erugh. What is with the hideous material? Just awful

All my maternity clothes are unpacked and just looking at the old ones made me vomit - all those past memories of feeling so unwell came rushing back.

So having a rare day of vomiting less than 1 million times (made up for it by being back to true form today) I went into Sussan with mum and found some dresses which should see me thru to the end of the pregnancy. If I get too big and these don't fit then I won't be leaving the house I tell ya.

And yes of course I look just like this model
I thought this would do for Christmas day

I love this one on - it will stretch as my bump grows and it is so comfy.

I also picked up a floaty top and a gorgeous navy dress which I can't find images of on the website.

The bump has given us a bit of a scare of late but at least now my maternity fashion won't be scary to strangers and even though I feel huge the shop assistant couldn't tell I was pregnant so I can't be too massive yet.

  1. During pregnancy, there can be anything worse than an ill-fitting maternity evening dress, besides pregnancy complications. So,do not be in a hurry to choose.Take time, search around, compare styles, and then decide. If you do not find your size, design,or color, try another store. Thanks for sharing.
